Just imagine yourself relaxing beside the pool or lazing in the hot tub and enjoying the glorious view across the golf course.
Rookwood is a luxurious and spacious 4 bedroom/3 bathroom executive villa, situated in Central Florida at Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club.
Our home is within easy walking distance of the Clubhouse restaurant and bar, which is open for breakfast and lunch every day and evening meals on Wednesdy, Thursday and Friday evenings. The meals are excellent and reasonably priced. Guests are recommended to try the Sunday morning breakfast buffet!!
The villa is very spacious (1945 sqft), with 2 large living areas both of which have high cathedral style ceilings.
All bedrooms have ceiling fans.
There are 2 master bedroom suites(queen) with en suite facilities, cable TV and radio/alarm clocks. Bedroom 1 also has an extension telephone.
The 2 twin-bedded rooms share a 3rd full bathroom and both have built in closets. One of the bedrooms has a cable TV and games machine with lots of built in games. The other twin room has some children’s toys suitable for our younger guests.
A very spacious lounge/dining room with, radio/CD/tape player lends itself to guests who want to sit quietly and read, listen to music or keep in touch with friends and family on the PC which has free high speed internet access. Surf the net and plan your days out or check on the driving directions for your planned excursions. A WiFi connection is also available for those who would prefer to bring their own laptop.
The family room is more geared for entertainment, with a new 32” flat screen LCD cable TV, DVD player (some DVDs supplied) and board games.
There is also a remote controlled ceiling fan. Sliding doors lead from the family room to the pool deck. These doors are alarmed (can be switched ON/OFF) to warn you should youngsters venture into the pool area unsupervised.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances both large and small. There is a stove, hob, microwave, waste disposal, fridge/freezer with ice maker, coffee maker, blender, automatic electric kettle, toaster, lots of pots and pans. Cutlery (silverware), glasseware (plastic by the pool please), plates, mugs etc.
Laundry facilities are provided in the garage. A large washing machine, drier and clothes line.
The breakfast area (Nook) has seating for four.
Rookwood has full air-conditioning/heating to keep you comfortable whatever the weather.
3 telephones (free local, long distance and international calls) and an answering machine make sure that you do not miss any important messages from home.
Our private swimming pool is screened to protect our guests from insects, but to allow the wonderful Florida sun to shine through! There is safety fencing around the pool for the protection of small children.
We have recently installed a hot tub for the added enjoyment of our guests. It has adjustable temperature control, adjustable jets a waterfall feature and coloured lights. A lockable insulated cover is provided and must be replaced when the hot tub is not in use.

How about a games area with pool table, air hockey and electronic darts game (safety plastic tipped darts)?
