The town is characterized as little New England by travel gurus and is known as the 'Antique capital' of Florida. This character villa has just been completely re-decorated and re-furnished. It has three bedrooms consisting of a master ensuite with sunken mosaic roman style tub which is situated at the opposite end from the other bedrooms allowing for privacy from your other guests. Bed 2 has two twin beds and bed 3 has a queen double with a single bunk above. There is also a double futon in the Florida room. The house will comfortably sleep 8 adults and accommodate 10 with the futon. A travel cot is available. Situated backing right onto the public golf course yet still retains a degree of privacy around the south-facing 30' x 15' pool and large secluded gardens

The Mount Dora excursion train makes a round-trip run from Mount Dora to Tavares then back again, offering lovely views of Lake Dora, tropical foliage and wildlife from it's open window coaches. This is definitely an area for those who enjoy nature, lakes, fishing and golf. Various annual festivals include: Village Antique Fair 4th weekend of March Streets of downtown Mount Dora.
